Our Mission Statement: Vigilant, Supportive and Aware.

We believe each child is unique and beautiful. Together they are a masterpiece.

We intend to provide an environment in which the wellbeing of every child is paramount. We recognise that children are best able to engage in learning and play when they feel safe, secure, and valued. We therefore aim to create a nurturing and homely environment, supported by adults who are empathetic and responsive to the individual needs of each child.
We understand that children require adults who can engage meaningfully with them, offering warmth, playfulness, and responsiveness. To ensure this, we implement manageable systems of assessment and record keeping, enabling practitioners to prioritise quality interactions with the children.

Strong partnerships with families are central to our practice. We value and respect the knowledge and perspectives of parents and carers and use this information to inform our provision.
Our curriculum is designed to be child-centred, evolving in line with the child’s interests, needs, and development. We provide a balanced approach to learning, offering both child-initiated and adult-led opportunities. Activities are carefully planned to extend children’s curiosity, engagement, and enjoyment, supporting their ongoing progress, developing happy, independent, confident, and inquisitive children who are eager to learn and ready for school.

• We are eligible to receive 9-month-old Working Families entitlement, 2-Year-old Early Years Educational funding (criteria based only), Universal 3&4-Year-old Working Families Entitlement funding, and the supplementary 3&4-Year-old Early Years Educational Extended offer funding (Criteria based only)
• We follow the EYFS Framework to ensure that every child is offered a holistic approach to their learning and development
• We offer freshly prepared cooked food every day and cater for all dietary requirements
• We offer breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and tea
• We have a secure door entry system
• We offer free settling-in sessions

Our parents include college students, lecturers and staff as well as families from the local community.
